Theme: DESOLATION

After the fires, the frost came.

The city was lost to nuclear winter, choked in ash and buried under never-melting snow drifts. For years, the air itself could peel flesh from bone. Survivors fled the concrete valley and the hollow towers above it. No one returned.

Except you.

The radiation has quieted. The remnants of the streets are walkable again if you don’t mind the cold—or the silence. And you are hungry: The last food tin was scraped clean three days back, with the expiration date five years before.  The last granola bar, the one you had stashed in the bottom of your sack, hidden in the dirty sock, went missing from your bag when you were asleep.

Tonight, a glow is visible from the city.  It reflects off the low-hung clouds, the colour of those UV grow lamps, and as the winter clouds descend lower there's a hint of green in that reflection.  The light is familiar, and you know it: the grow lights of fresh food.

Deadmonton is a Trophy Dark incursion for 3 to 4 players using standard Trophy Dark rules and character options. The doomed treasure-hunters must navigate the empty city in search of fresh food, avoiding terrors and temptations along the way. 

Note: this incursion is in playtesting so there may be minor changes.
